Hands on Me by Vanessa Carlton

I first saw you at the video exchange
I know my heart and it will never change
This temp work would be alright if you'd call me
You'd call me
I lay awake at night for you
And I pray

We'd cross the deepest oceans
Cargo across the sea
And if you don't believe me
Just put your hands on me
And all the constellations
Shine down for us to see
And if you don't believe me
Just put your hands on me

The subway radiates with heat
We've barely met and still I cross the street to your door

Someday when our stories are told
They'll tell of a love like this
When our descendents are all growing old
1,000 years they'll be singing
Nah-nah, nah-nah, nah, nah, nah

We'll climb Tibetan mountains
Where we can barely breathe
I'll see the Dali Lama
I'll feel him blessing me
And all the constellations
Shine down for us to see
And if you don't believe me
Just put your hands on me
Your hands on me...

First saw you at the video exchange

10000 or ...

or a million, it doesn't matter.
i have made peace.
picked up the brushes, terrified then excited, then in awe.
how did that came out?

Song for Today, 10000 Stones by Adrianne.

My days are filled with mistakes
Some that I didn't make
I carry them around
Some people don't feel a thing
Some kind of blissful dream
Wish I could live that now
oh I wish I could live that now

10,000 stones hanging
deep in my heart
no I don't know how they
don't tear me apart
how could I ever believe
10,000 stones would build
the best of me.

I've seen a lot in my life
I've seen two wrongs make a right
When everything was crashing
I know that you got your plans
You're always taking your stand
But I was only asking
No I was never asking for

who knows what you think of me now
knowing sooner or later
the truth would come out
but I don't want to look back
don't want to look back to

10,000 stones hanging deep in my heart
no I don't know how they don't tear me apart
how could I ever believe
10,000 stones would save the fool in me
10,000 stones would be a strange blessing
10,000 stones would build the best of me

Quiet Times opens 2009!

from Dido's new album Safe Trip Home.
Beautiful words and melody.
Though, the song was in Grey's Anatomy,
I love it when it is in Ghost Whisperer Season 4 Episode 9.
It's perfect for a morning song. :)
Like a morning like the one I'm having now.
The Quiet Times.
Truly love it.
Enjoy!

You ask me where I'd go tonight
I'd go back to today last year
We knew how to make each other happy
And there was hope of everything
It's hard enough to feel the world as it is
And hold on anything
Without these quiet times
You've bought round here

I'm gonna to have to run away
I'm sure that I belong some other place
I've seen another side of all I've seen
It keeps me wondering where my family is
It's hard enough to see the world as it is
And hold on anything
Without these quiet times
Coming round here

Now I miss you
And I want you
But I can't have you
Even when you're here

I suppose I have to take you with me broken mind
I'd rather leave you here
So forget everything you've seen and known
Erase every idea
If you walk up in the street
And hold my hand and smile
Well I won't be taken in
Cos I know how it turns out
And it takes me back
To these quiet times
Coming round here

Now I miss you
And I want you
You're not coming back
And I need you
But I can't have you
Even when you're here

Now I miss you
And I want you
You're not coming back
And I need you
But I can't have you
Even when you're here

Wild Horses

Me and my sis love this song from the movie FLICKA.
I think it is one of the most beautiful song I've ever heard. ^_^

Wild Horses by Natasha Bedingfield.

I feel these four walls closing in
My face up against the glass
I'm looking out... hmm
Is this my life I'm wondering
It happened so fast
How do I turn this thing around
Is this the bed I chose to make
Its greener pastures I'm thinking about hmm
Wide open spaces far away

All I want is the wind in my hair
To face the fear but, not feel scared

[Chorus:]
Wild horses I wanna be like you
Throwing caution to the wind
I'll run free too
Wish I could recklessly love, like I'm longing to
Run with the wild horses, run with the wild horses!
Oh yeah yea

I see the girl I wanna be
Riding bare back, care free along the shore
If only that someone was me
Jumping head first headlong without a thought
To act and damn the consequence
How I wish it could be that easy
But fear surrounds me like a fence
I wanna break free

All I want is the wind in my hair
To face the fear but, not feel scared
Hoohhh woah woah

[Chorus:]
Wild horses I wanna be like you
Throwing caution to the wind
I'll run free too
Wish I could recklessly love, like I'm longing to
I wanna run with the wild horses, run with the wild horses!
Oh yeah yea

I wanna run too.
Hohhh woah oh woah oh
Breaklessly abandoning my self before you
I wanna open up my heart tell him how I feel

[Chorus:]
Wild horses I wanna be like you
Throwing caution to the wind
I'll run free too
Wish I could recklessly love, like I'm longing to
I wanna run with the wild horses, run with the wild horses! [X2]
Hooaah woah oh woah
Yeah

I wanna run with the wild horses

Need A Jar

Had 2 shitty days. The problem is I badly want to tell someone but I can't.
I'm starting to think this is some kind of disease? or a malfunction. meh.
But like always, it passed away. Like any problems in the world.
Anyway, my thoughts that came out from the recent 'moment' is this.

I need A Jar. Best it to be Magical because it has to fit pretty big black stuff in it.
See, i also made a theory why the Ocean is made of 70% in Earth.
It's because it needs to clean up ALL the jars in the world.
Like the circle of life,
we take and give, we absorb and exhale. In and out.
Black and white.
The jar is where the blackness needs to be put in.
And knowing that the Ocean will never shrink is a Breeze.

Erin McCarley with Pony.

You hold your head up to the sky
You say what kind of blue
are you? Are you?
Then you ride your pony round and round
It’s diggin’ a hole, right through, right through

You stumble down a yellow brick road,
Spinning your shoes in the air, the air.
Then you, hold your breath, and count to nine,
Hoping that soon somebody will find you, find you,

Go on, go on, go on, the stars are watching,
Just say, just say, just say, what you’re feeling,
You know, you know, you know, you gotta take a bow and do it your way,
It’s okay, ladadadadadadadada, it’s okay, ladadadadadadadada

You’re 15 miles over the speed,
You’re going fast as you can after your daydream Ohh
I might get sad, carried away
Or have a serious talk with your, champaign.

It’s time for you to prove,
Within your ruby shoes
You deserve a smile with no regret,
Look at you
Kicking off your shoes,
Dancing for the world to see,
You got the power to believe,
Open up and see,
And go be free and fly away

Wicked Betty! Uno, Dos, Tres. Jump.

my left shoulder blade throbbing with pain. muscle pain i reckon. either its due to wrong sleeping posture OR that i held Irfan too much.huhu..

2nd weekend of Eid Mubarak! yey to tht. ^_^
I'm waiting for few stuff to arrive.
1. Shipment from New Zealand.
2. Autographed EP by Andrew Belle who's been wonderful for messaging me and signing it for me too. ^_^
3. CDs from the US and UK.
4. Application forms from varies colleges/uni
5. Kebayas dari Bandung!
6. London keychains.

It hit me! I, really want to do the opposite of waiting.
"Even with one shoulder!"

I watched Ugly Betty Season 2.
3 things i got from that :

Numero Uno
The WICKED theatre was in the show! (Episode 6, Season 2) I went to see it too! The WICKED Musical at Apollo Victoria London with the new London cast! It was brilliant.

Elphaba (Alexia Khadime-new) Gosh her voice! Goooooosebumps.
Alexia Cast Page link
Short Finale of Defying Gravity

Longer recording of Defying Gravity

Glinda (Sarah Earnshaw-standby) was hilarious! lol...Gaaaa...lin. daaaa...toss toss lol!
Sarah Earnshaw Cast Page link

But dang, didnt get the CD. stupid me. huh!

Numero Dos
I'm not really a fan of the show but I admire Betty's "didn't care" attitude and determination during an execution. Brilliant confidence.

Also Mr.Suarez wonderful quotes :

"You just need to search deep inside and then take a deep breath. Jump."
- Episode 18, Season 2.

"Can't you see? You're doing it now.Growing up isn't about making the right decision. It's about dealing with the decision you've made. And picking yourself up.It's not easy. But I know you Betty. You can do it. But right now. These things. This moment. This. Is Growing Up."
- Episode 1, Season 3.

awwwwww...*sniff* Mr.Suarez! You rule! lol.

Numero Tres
Finally it got me hooked to JUMP by Madonna. i never thought i would actually like a song from her- no matter how fab she is as a performer or radio-friendly her songs are.
But I'm making an exception to this one.

DVD Tour Video of Jump by Madonna link

Another Round of Life Coming Up!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Album. Period. Cause I was able to listen to the whole album while editing 10 times straight already! And i can't wait to share it here at my beloved blog. ngeh2.
I'm a musical person. It can build or disturb my system. Especially, crap music is a BIG NO NO while i'm driving. It drives me to sleep pretty quickly and can get me in a crappy mood too. Heh.

Anyway, did you guys noticed the full moon these past few days? Subhanallah. Gorgeous ok!
Lagi2 Ramadhan. pergh! And this morning, I saw the Red Rising Sun! it was so low at first. Then it goes up in the middle level of the Putrajaya Mosque. Subhanallah. It was brilliant. Urgh! nope, zero photo cause my tripod is in a ship from UK now. uwaaaa!

Carnival Ride is an excellent choice of phrase to describe life itself don't you think?
It's colorful, exciting, scary, up, down, spins, make you scream, go crazy, chirpy, bounded, enter and fall, bla bla bla...Like a roller coaster ride or those funny mirrors room, which can never seem to stop the phobia of some or excites enough, with boredom potential. Happened, happening or will happen, One time or another.

Back to the album :
My favourite tracks : So Small (below), Wheel of the World, I Know You Won't, Last Name.
Enjoy!

What you got if you ain't got love
the kind that you just want to give away
It's okay to open up
go ahead and let the light shine through
I know it's hard on a rainy day
you want to shut the world out and just be left alone
But don't run out on your faith

'Cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand
What you've been up there searching for
forever is in your hands
When you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else
seem so small

It's so easy to get lost inside
a problem that seems so big at the time
it's like a river thats so wide
it swallows you whole
While you sit around thinking about what you can't change
and worrying about all the wrong things
time's flying by
moving so fast
you better make it count 'cause you can't get it back

For my kind of UK that i knew

WONDERFUL
by Chantal Kreviazuk

I'm alone in this life

And these old jeans are too tight
And now I can't pick my feet off the floor
I try to laugh but I cry
My dignity's undignified
I guess i'm really on my own

Love is like a little boy
No I'm not paranoid
But I'm onto you yeah yeah
Well I'm not seventeen
And I don't wanna be
So why am I hiding?

[Chorus:]
Is it too late to call you on the phone
Too late to tell you I'm alone
I wanna wake you from another lonely night
Is it too late to wonder where you are
Too late to hold you in my arms
Cause if you're looking for wonderful
I'm wonderful

I'm a very simple girl
And I don't fit into this world
The city lights leave me in a daze
And even though we've never met
You know what I'm trying to forget
Some things you can never change
[Chorus]

I'm underneath
Underneath
I'm underneath
I'm underneath

Fully Alive

I had a Mouse crisis.
This is the 2nd one i bought. My good behavior old mouse went bonkers! grrr...malfunction my a*%!
so i went to buy a new one and the wire was freaking short! Then i bought another one, and HA-HA, it is slightly shorter than what i had! Cruel cruel joke.

Should I buy the 3rd mouse? hah?hah? irritating betul.

It's been a while i haven't shared any current songs. Lately, my feminist strength overdriven my music sense..hence the all girls stuff i listened to.
Imaginations that came out from this? very positive. Sunshine, BEACHES!, driving with the window down blowing my hair, cute guys!, the NO one gonna let me down attitude, being totally your-dorky-perky self and all the good good friends!

Hence, i love not to worry. But having nothing to worry about is bad, cause you have no reason to feel certain things. You cant really live your life too perfectly, cause that just means you never change. :)
I may love today, hate tomorrow, or dying-ly loving the next.
Basically, i hate being bored. ngee...

Earth Agrees

I thank the rain this late night for falling for me,
(at least it felt that way)

Cause it works.(until few months soon)
When I'm sad, i love to listen to Patty Griffin.
I love her idea of inspiration - that her shyness is overcome through music. I could feel her honesty of being herself. And true artist truly does shine through that way. Just by being yourself.

Her sites
http://www.pattygriffin.com/
http://www.pattygriffin.net/

RAIN by Patty Griffin
It's hard to listen to a hard hard heart
Beating close to mine
Pounding up against the stone and steel
Walls that I won't climb
Sometimes a hurt is so deep deep deep
You think that you're gonna drown
Sometimes all I can do is weep weep weep
With all this rain falling down

Strange how hard it rains now
Rows and rows of big dark clouds
When I'm holding on underneath this shroud
Rain

Its hard to know when to give up the fight
Two things you want will just never be right
Its never rained like it has tonight before
Now I don't wanna beg you baby
For something maybe you could never give
I'm not looking for the rest of your life
I just want another chance to live

Strange how hard it rains now
Rows and rows of big dark clouds
When I'm holding on underneath this shroud
Rain

Strange how hard it rains now
Rows and rows of big dark clouds
When I'm still alive underneath this shroud
Rain Rain Rain

Shadowfeet and Lucky 8

What was on the screen on board of Air New Zealand from Auckland to Wellington, during my visit last month? Brooke Fraser.
Since yesterday, I've been listening to her
new album.

Which is actually a 2006 album but will be a new release in the US this May 26th.

I miss listening to her. I recall in 2004, her first album was a huge hit in her home country
New Zealand. The year i first step foot there as well.

I bring home her music with me until now.
Here's the 2nd single from her 2nd album, 'Albertine'.
Wait, whats 'Lucky 8' has anything to do with today's pick? Well, 8 is like my life number. Harder to explain, but the entire course of my life, 8 has always been, a 'companion'.

And i discovered and fell in love with "Shadowfeet", on the 8th, and the video,
well....
that's just...*smile*...ME. Enjoy!

~SHADOWFEET~

click here for website--> BROOKE FRASER

Walking,stumbling on these shadowfeet

toward home, a land that i've never seen
I am changing: less and less asleep
made of different stuff than when i began
and i have sensed it all along
fast approaching is the day
***
when the world has fallen out from under me
I'll be found in you, still standing
when the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees
when time and space are through
I'll be found in you
***
Theres distraction buzzing in my head
saying in the shadows it's easier to stay
but I've heard rumours of true reality
whispers of a well-lit way
***
You make all things new

***
When the world has fallen out from under me

I'll be found in you, still standing
Every fear and accusation under my feet
when time and space are through
I'll be found in you

Window and Words

There's a window in our heart.
There's a window inside.

But to remain closed, is it still a window,
without the View?

-to listen please go the right side page for Odeo Player-
Kate Voegele with "Kindly Unspoken"
(as heard in One Tree Hill)
As high as the moon | So high were my spirits | When you sang out my name
And coming from you | It was enough just to hear it | Oh, it rang like the bells did today
But even the sturdiest ground | Can shift and can tremble and let us fall down

Kindly unspoken
You show your emotion | And silence speaks louder than words
It's lucky I'm clever | If I didn't know better
I'd believe only that which I'd heard

In the days of my folly | I followed your lead | I did what Simon Said to do
But I won't let melancholy | Play me for a fool | Oh, no I'm on my way somewhere new
And as far as your lack of something to say |

Well, to tell me goodbye there was no better way

So don't keep me up till the dawn | With words that'll keep leading me on
I know much better than to wait for an answer from you
